Which Plants Can You Find on Which Continent?
Plants can be divided according to their origin into plants that are native to a particular geographical location and plants that are exotic to that location – plants brought to that area. In the following table, we'll show you the origin of some well-known plants that are nevertheless exotic to our climate.
- Africa: Aloe vera, Coffee Plant – Coffea arabica, Basil, Pelargonium
- Australia: Tea Tree - Melaleuca alternifolia, Eucalyptus
- China: Goji, Ginkgo
- India: Pepper – Piper nigrum, Cinnamon
