Aloe
Aloe belongs among drought-loving succulent plants with more than 500 known species. Besides the well-known aloe vera, you can also grow less common species, such as Aloe spectabilis, Aloe vanbalenii or Aloe striata. Typical for them are fleshy, triangular leaves with serrated edges, which look decorative throughout the year.
Growing aloe is possible even in our conditions – they thrive on a sunny windowsill, in a winter garden or in a greenhouse. They require a permeable substrate, moderate watering and plenty of light. In our conditions they flower less frequently, but even without flowers they are a beautiful interior decoration.
